The storm began in 2004
In December 2004, a 17-year-old artist named Tantrum released 87 Inches of Rain.
There was no machine behind it.
He wrote and performed the songs, recorded himself, produced several of the records, and turned the finished album into his first physical CDs.
87 Inches of Rain became a time capsule of the pain, family, loss, survival and experiences he was still learning how to understand.
Twenty-two years later, the album remains an unfiltered document of a 17-year-old using music to make sense of the storm around him.
This edition doesn't rewrite that moment. It preserves it.
